SIS CHOATE PINEHURST TOURNAMENT

 

Entry Fee: $220 per team (2 players)

Eligibility: An entry is submitted for a team of two WMGA players of any handicap index combination.

 

Format: 18 holes of Pinehurst stroke play. Handicaps are revised ten days before the event. Pairings made by the Committee. The player with the lower Course Handicap receives 60% of her Course Handicap. The player with the higher Course Handicap receives 40% of her Course Handicap. Add the percentage allowances together then round off. The total with .5 or higher is rounded upward. This becomes the team’s Course Handicap. Trophy awarded to the low gross team. Ties for the gross trophy will be decided by an immediate hole-by-hole playoff beginning on a hole decided by the committee. Any team not present for a playoff must forfeit the playoff. Prizes awarded to top 1-3 gross and net teams based on the number of tournament participants. All ties, except for the gross trophy, will be decided by a match of cards. Trophy winners may opt for crystal in lieu of standard prize.
